Promoters

Mr. Tararanjan Patnaik

He is a leading industrialist of the State of Orissa. He leads the export of marine products in the State and is also a force to reckon with in the Indian sea food sector. Today “Falcon Group” established by him has a diversified portfolio and is presently engaged in Finance, Real Estate, Ferro Alloys, Sponge Iron, Steel Billets, Power and other activities. The group provides direct employment to more than 2500 employees and the marine products business has provided indirect employment to no. of small fishermen and rural folks.

Mr Tara Patnaik is Chairman-cum-whole time Director of Falcon Marine Exports Ltd., the Managing Director of Falcon Finance Ltd., Falcon Real Estate (P) Ltd., Patnaik Steels & Alloys Ltd., the Managing Partner of Gangeya Supply Agency and the Managing Trustee of Padmanava Educational Trust.

Mr. Jitendra Nath Patnaik
He is an active businessman having 30 years of experience in mining and crushing business and is a director in the sponge iron plant of Orion Ispat Ltd. He is also a Director of M/s Patnaik Minerals (P) Ltd. and a partner in M/s B.D. Patnaik & Co.

Strength of the Company

The blue chip company of the group is Falcon Marine Exports Ltd., a leading processor/exporter of Marine Products of India. The company is the proud recipient of highest export award of the state in marine sector for last one decade. The company is also the proud recipient of all India Highest Export Award in shrimps for last six years.

The promoters of Patnaik Steels and Alloys Ltd. are the only entrepreneurs from Orissa who have ventured into the integrated Steel Plant.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Profit making is not the only motive at PATNAIK STEELS & ALLOYS LTD. The company also voluntarily shoulders the responsibility towards the society - working for the environmental and economical development of people, and building a "better living place". It actively contributes to the betterment of the community and caters to the requirements of the unfortunate section of the society in many different ways.

Area Development and Charity Activities
It has defined various people-friendly policies for the pro-active growth in areas concerning its operations. Whenever there has been a genuine need, the company has lent a helping hand to mitigate the difficult circumstances.

Donations and Health-Check up Programmes
Having understood the economical standard of the nation, the company has taken all possible steps to contribute to the development of the underprivileged. It has been paying pension to old age people and is regularly conducting free health check-up camps in the vicinity of the plant. The company has dug several tube wells in the vicinity of the plant to provide drinking water to the nearby villages. The company has also constructed a community hall for the use of villagers in village Purunapani. Free medicines are supplied to the staff and villagers by the company.

Within the company premises, it ensures that the employees are provided with suitable working environment. Environment Management System

To contribute towards the Green Belt Revolution, the company nurtures wide plantations and landscape within its premises. The company has also installed several bag filters, water sprinklers and ESP. This system not only helps filter out particles like coal ash upto 45 microns and reduces the amount of suspended particles in the gases, but it also helps the company achieve its broader vision of environment management.
